Even though many have wrongly labeled me as only “the dog lover” or “traveler” or “adventurer”, just as my books have been mistakenly viewed as “travel journals” or “dog related”, the whole truth is different.
(My) Books are mainly about overcoming obstacles, looking for new paths and discoveries, and literally anybody can read them. (The purpose of my books is) Mainly to motivate, inspire and entertain.
Just like all my other projects and activities.
Prior to being given those aforementioned labels, I too was a man of many professions, ventures and hobbies, and they all transpire till current days.
I’d like to add that I do not consider myself a professional in any field, and definitely
(for God’s sake!) I am not somebody who can or should give advice to others!
The only thing is that in my life I’ve been through many, many versatile activities,
and I screwed up some things too…
But mainly, I gathered invaluable experiences and knowledge, sharpened my skills and, of course, encountered vast numbers of people, listened to the same amount of stories,
read plenty as well, seen a lot, lived a lot…
Using all these blessings in combination with my unique memory and skill to interconnect everything, have brought me to many conclusions.
This should be an ongoing and never-ending process.
The name I choose, thereof, ‚The Wretched Man, A Sinful Vessel’, is reflecting
my love for humor, self awareness, irony and perspective, and acknowledging,
that I ain’t a perfect man.
My new book will carry the same title, and it’s also a name of my Fun Stand-Up Travelogue with a slide show.

The Invitation
It does not interest me what you do for a living
I want to know what you ache for
And if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing.
It does not interest me how old you are.
I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love.
For your dream for the adventure of being alive.
It does not interest me what planets are squaring your moon,
I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow,
If you have been opened by life’s betrayals
or have become shriveled and closed from fear from further pain.
I want to know if you can sit with pain.
My or your own. Without moving to hide it, or trade it, or fix it.
I want to know if you can be with joy, my or your own.
If you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy
fill you from the tips of your fingers and toes,
without cautioning us to be careful, to be realistic.
To remember the limitations of being human.
I want to know if you can see beauty, even if it’s not pretty every day
And if you can source your own life from its presence.
It does not interest me, if the story you are telling me is true.
I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself.
If you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul.
If you can be faithless and therefore trustworthy.
I want to know if you can live with failure.
Your or mine, and still stand on the edge of the lake
and shout to the silver of the full moon YES.
It does not interest me to know where you live or how much money you have.
I want to know if you can get up after the night of grief and despair,
weary and bruised to the bone, and do what needs to be done to feed the children.
It does not interest me who you know, or how you came to be here.
I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back.
It does not interest me where, of what, or with whom you have studied.
I want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls away.
I want to know if you can be alone with yourself.
And if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.
